These Benefits can be accessed at ANY stage when needed, throughout the lifetime of your Funeral Policy.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL LINE
A 24 hour dedicated line where a medically trained professional will be able to guide the member through a medical crises.
If a member happens to be involved in a traumatic incident, which has significant psychological consequences, trauma counselling sessions can be arranged. Face-to-face consultations are also available.
TELEPHONIC MEDICAL ADVICE
Provides members with easy access to medical resources and telephonic medical information.
These Benefits are only available at the claim stage of your Funeral Policy.
Assistance with the transportation of the deceased to the receiving funeral home. This service is available to transport the deceased Insured Life to the place of the funeral, when this is more than 100km from where the Insured Life passed on.
ADDED BENEFITS & SERVICES
ACCIDENTAL DEATH BENEFIT***
Accidental death benefits for all registered Immediate & Extended Dependants pay double the funeral benefit should the Life Insured pass away as a result of an accident.
WAIVER OF PREMIUM***
In the event of the death of the policyholder, the policy benefits will be provided for free to all remaining lives insured for a period of 6 (six) months.
GET R300 AIRTIME***
Airtime will be allocated immediately to the nominated person by the beneficiary (in the event of the death of any registered Immediate or Extended Dependant). No cash benefits are available.
*These benefits only apply to Immediate Dependants Funeral Plans and Extended Dependants Funeral Plans and do not apply to Value Plans.
