Project Manager


Job Purpose:

The Project Manager reports to the Managing Director and manages the granular tasks and resources allocated to projects in a cohesive, efficient manner. He/she must administer and execute mostly the business/commercial side of software development projects as well as some other multi-departmental projects within budget, quality and time constraints with effective internal and external stakeholder management.

Job Responsibilities, Duties and Tasks:           

  • Develop, monitor and control project scope, cost, time and quality alongside the Scrum Master.
  • Develop project plans from concept to closure (JIRA, MS Project and MS Planner), including tasks, milestones, timelines, resources, costs etc. Ensure that all projects worked on are aligned to the business strategy.
  • Develop accurate, effective and efficient project document control and record management.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports to keep up to date on the progress of all aspects of the project.
  • Monthly report presentations to the project board.
  • Ensure that project team is aware of and understands the scope, timelines, issues, risks, status etc at any given time.
  • Manage risks and issues impacting the project.
  • Manage and motivate the resources for the project, steering them into the right direction from start to end.

SQL Data Analyst / BI Developer


We require the service of an experienced data analyst to help with the fast-moving IT / reporting requirements of a growing company in the financial and insurance industry. 

Job Responsibilities, Duties and Tasks:

  • Maintain, analyse and evaluate relevant company data.
  • Write database queries using SQL.
  • Provide and maintain reports in the form of graphs, charts, and tables to Management.
  • Design, build and maintain reports and dashboards using PowerBI
  • Build and maintain cubes using SSAS
  • Review, interpret and fulfil ongoing business report requirements
  • Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
  • ETL using SSIS or other technologies

Required Experience:

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Advanced SQL skills including SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, and T-SQL
  • Advanced PowerBI skills
  • Min 3 years’ experience in the above
  • Ability to analyse large datasets
  • Ability to write comprehensive reports
  • Machine learning understanding and experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in the financial/insurance industry is advantageous.

Non-Technical Skills:

Role of Department:

The responsibility of the Client Service department is to build and retain strong and lasting relationships with the MHA clients through ongoing support by ensuring that all the funeral policy enquiries are answered and solved.

We believe that efficiently supported clients become satisfied and loyal clients, who in turn help with improving the overall brand net promoter score and business revenue.

Job Purpose:

The Inbound Client Service Agent is responsible for building and retaining strong and lasting relationships with the MHA clients through ongoing support by ensuring that all the funeral policy enquiries are answered and solved.

Job Responsibilities, Duties and Tasks:

  • Support MHA clients through incoming calls.
  • Providing clients with general information regarding the different MHA products, services and benefits etc.
  • Assisting clients with process information and funeral cover quotes.
  • Ensure that the quality standards are met and that a high standard of quality is achieved and maintained.
  • Ensure that there is 0% unnecessary query come backs on all platforms (Focus on Query resolution).
  • Assisting clients with new policy application follow-up queries.
  • Assisting clients with the tracking and follow-up of claims in progress.
  • Correction of missed premiums through different payment methods (Once off payments, Pay@, Persal and deposits etc.).
  • Assisting clients with the Compliance follow-up queries (Payment Holiday, Complaints, and letter of authority etc.).
  • Capturing and amendments to existing policy information to ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Addition or removal of dependants.
  • Sharing of documents (Forms, transaction details and policy schedule etc.).
  • Upgrades and downgrades of current policy plans.
  • Transferring of sales leads to the Sales outbound department.
  • Assisting 3rd parties with different client queries (Brokers, Field Agents, MHA Administrators and Assupol etc.).
  • Adhere to the MHA business processes, procedures and business rules.
  • To play a key role in the stewardship of positive client relationships and the retention of clients.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

  • Matric / Grace 12 or equivalent
  • 1 year call center experience
  • Multilingual (Speak Tshivenda and at least 2 additional African languages)
